Happy Anniversary - Ong Ba Ngoai!

Linda's parents celebrated their 42nd Anniversary today, as well as having known each other for 50 years. We had a little family dinner at one of their favorite restaurants!

Busy Sunday!

Aside from going to church, as we normally do on Sundays, we had a roller skating birthday party for our neighbors (Eva & Ruby) and a reunion of friends for Leon and the people he grew up with. The kids did pretty good for being their first time on skates. Our niece Isabel has been with us all weekend and got to join us in the fun. Leon's childhood friends from "Descanso" are visiting for a short bit, so we were fortunate to have them gathered in one place!

Leon's work had their "Holiday" party at UCSD Faculty Club tonight and we brought the kids along (including Isabel). We discovered with a little persuasion, once the boys were out on the dance floor, they were tearing up the floor. They were dancing so much that we had to stop them to get them to drink something! What a fun night it turned out to be!

Charger Sunday - Playoffs

Our friend Mark & family invited us over to watch the Chargers play their playoff game. Unfortunately the game was not a good turn out but the kids sure had fun on the trampoline. Both Isabel and John (niece & nephew) got to join us this weekend!

Our Christmas Wii addition!

Our big screen TV has been broken for 6 weeks. Yesterday was the first day it was fixed and so we watched a Blue Ray movie. Today we finally opened our new Wii Fit Plus game and balance board! Needless to say, we loved it! So many things to do, in addition to getting some exercise!

Cousins playing around!

Often we spend time with our "Nguyen" cousins (Grace & Robbie). Today was a backyard day at their house and this was just one of the cutest photo of them together! Plus they were running an obstacle course made up of what ever objects/toys they could find. Even Leon got into the fun and tried out the obstacle course!

Happy New Years 2010

Our New Year included a family gathering from both sides of the family! Not everyone was there, but a good portion. Plus Leon and the boys, with Uncle George's help, worked on the Genius Marble Mania that they got for Christmas! Great way to start off the year!

Thanksgiving Celebrations

We spent the early part of our Thanksgiving week in Arizona helping the Sisters3 (Helen, Barbara & Mary Kay) put up some hard to reach decorations (more like Leon helped them). We were able to stay for free at the Hilton in Scottsdale, thanks to Helen. Right before we hit the road, we hit the pool for some water fun! Thanksgiving day was spent at Linda's sister's house (Angela & Mike). We had cousin Joe and Isabel with us for the duration. The kids all played boche ball for the first time and got quite competitive about it, but it was fun! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Leyton's Class had a Thanksgiving Feast

In celebration of Thanksgiving, Leyton's kindergarten class reenacted the gathering of the pilgrims and native Americans on Thanksgiving day. The class also paraded and performed for the parents before school let out for the break! Lincoln even got to join in on the festivities... it helps that I'm the Co-Room Parent who happened to help organize the event!

Leyton's 1st School Award

Leyton received his first school award in front of all the K-2nd graders at the school Spirit Assembly! He was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for RESPONSIBILITY! We are so proud of him! He did not know he was receiving the award and both Leon and I were able to surprise him by attending the assembly!
