Cousin Isabel was already on her Thanksgiving break and was spending the week with us, so after Leyton's preschool class, we all headed to Sea World on our annual passes. It was a little chilly out but it didn't seem to bother the kids much. The kids have gotten so confident in feeding the animals. Both Leyton and Isabel fed the Bat Rays which is not an easy task for the light hearted. You have to stick your hand completely under water and allow the bat ray to swim over your hand and suck up the fish. All 3 kids fed the dolphins which is not as challenging to feed, but you are more challenged to prevent the seagulls from taking the food out of your hand before you can feed the dolphin. They also each got to pet a dolphin. It's nice having annual passes because we take our time and only go for a few hours at a time, instead of trying to see everything in one day. The kids love going to the tide pools and the aquarium to check out all the sea creatures. And of course a trip to Sea World wouldn't be complete without seeing at least one show... today it was the Shamu show.Click on the photo to go to the album:
